Alfred Stigletz was a photographer who took radical steps and of course exceptional photographs to make his art seen. He believed that photographs could convey the same amount of emotion, and demonstrate the same skill as paintings and sculptures. He and a couple other photogs created the photo-secession.
Icy night is a beautiful thought provoking concept. Is it that he allows us to see what we don't think is in the dark? Is it that there is still light on a somber icy night? It brings memories to everyone of snow and just what a magical thing it is.
Alfred Stieglitz was in a relationship with Georgia O'keeffe! I adore the yellow flower!
